Petunia Cottage built in 1931 is located in North Truro at Beach Point. The cottage has a magical feel as if you are floating on a boat in the bay. Evening sunsets are not to be missed. 180 degree bay view. Renovated following the Days Family ownership retaining all of it's historical charm, but upgraded for comfort.
Petunia is the perfect location for Cape Cod vacation. Walk out the door to an endless Cape Cod Bay sand beach that is private for the group of cottages. Cape Cod National Seashore surrounds North Truro, with an access just across Rt 6. Just steps away, the Days Market & Deli is a treasure with fresh baked muffins every morning and fantastic sandwiches throughout the day. Provincetown is a 4 mile bike ride down 6A, or take the shuttle bus into town with a stop just across the street. The shaming towns of Wellfleet and Truro are also just a short drive. There is so much to love on the outer cape.
The working gas fireplace in the living room is perfect for Spring and Fall nights. The bedrooms at Petunia have been upgraded to fit larger beds than other cottages. Main room has a quality queen mattress. The second bedroom bed was increased in size to a full. There is additional queen sleeper in the living room. Storage has been been tucked away throughout. The 1931 cottage does not have air conditioning, but you can open the windows for the cool breeze coming from the bay. There is a full kitchen, free parking and wifi.
Summer weeks are 3200 per week plus the hotel tax. There are still a few openings for the 2024 season including weeks in early June, and July/Aug. I am also starting a waiting list for other weeks throughout the season. Rental week is Sat to Sat. Petunia vacationers bring their own sheets and towels.
Only a few weeks of the season available. Most families have booked the same weeks year after year, so please plan ahead. May and June weeks available this year.
